Being an artist with my studio in Hamilton, ON in my very early years was an amazing experience. I always tell my students that Hamilton has one of the most generous and lively arts communities I have ever been involved in. Cock sure with 80’s hair, when I hit the scene all full of piss and vinegar, the artists where then and still are so welcoming and interested and radical.
