"Goats, genitals and Barbie dolls are featured in the “Wanna Play?” series. These mixed media pieces celebrate the animal pleasures of womanhood. They assert a human being’s right to enjoy and explore the body and the influences that shape our self-perception. Fierceness of delight is exemplified by sharp contrasts of media, texture, value and imagery. Collaged pieces of linocut prints (goats, patterns) bump and grind against outrageously-coloured, drawn and painted Barbie legs and curly-haired vaginas and penises. Graphic in both senses of the word, these compositions are as full of humorous juxtapositions and energetic diagonals as their suggestive titles imply." F van Bork
